About Me
Hayley Steinmetz, M.A., LPC
Owner & Therapist
I’ve been working in mental and behavioral health since 2001, beginning in child and adolescent residential settings with a focus on mental health and substance use. That experience shaped the way I approach therapy today—grounded, practical, and centered on understanding the full picture of what someone is going through. My work is also informed by a personal understanding of how anxiety and life experiences can impact the way we move through the world.
In my private practice, I work with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, and life transitions. My goal is to help you better understand yourself, develop tools that actually work in your day-to-day life, and begin shifting patterns that may be keeping you stuck.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Northeastern University and my Master’s in Rehabilitation Counseling from Maryville University, graduating with distinction.
Beyond credentials, I believe the relationship we build in therapy matters more than the approach we use. I aim to create a space that feels supportive, honest, and grounded—where you can show up as you are and feel understood.
Outside of my work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, painting, music, and being creative. I also value time outdoors and the slower moments that help me stay present and connected.
